I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
Well, that might have been a lot of information to take in but you can see how vast the capabilities and potential this tool are. Aside from packet manipulation, it's also great to help build networking and forensic knowledge of the protocol stack. The applications are almost limitless and practical to anyone trying to learn more about cyber security or in the field. I hope we covered enough in this chapter to provide you with a good foundation to understanding its basics. Some of the more advanced guides provided online include using scapy for ASN.1, Network Automata, and Profinet IO RTC. However, for now and especially if you're new to scapy then I would explore and have some fun with it (within legal capabilities of course).
