Abstract
The complex mission scenarios for micro aerial vehicles (MAVs) operating in cluttered environments, such as indoor or between structures, trees, etc., require more autonomy. An unmanned aerial vehicle being used for search and rescue, urban security, event coverage, and other emerging applications must be able to detect and avoid obstacles in the path on its own. This sense and avoid capability is very essential for the autonomous operation of MAVs. In this paper, a novel sense and avoid system is developed using ...
