Abstract
Computational fluid dynamics is developed to solve real-world scenarios and understand the physics of the design process. It is a less time consuming, accurate, and quantitative tool than traditional wind tunnel testing. This paper uses a CFD tool to predict the acoustic behavior of a three-blade propeller. Predicting sound behavior around a propeller aerodynamic structure in CFD still remains a great challenge. This paper follows a computational approach to predict the acoustic behavior of a 3-blade optimized propeller. In computing, an alternative method is developing artificial intelligence and machine learning. Artificial intelligence combines the speed of human intuition with the accuracy of CFD simulation in milliseconds. There are many approaches in artificial intelligence, such as physics-informed neural networks (PINNs), data-driven model that achieves an input–output relationship without physical mechanisms, physical model for optimizing existing models with artificial intelligence algorithms, and hybrid model that incorporates both data and physical mechanisms to simplify the simulation process and predict flow behavior at industrial sites. This simplified AI method will be used in the next edition of the article. This paper is used as a case study to ...
