Abstract
A novel approach for autonomous mapping along predetermined paths, utilizing an onboard camera without any reliance on external assistance from a ground station or global positioning system(GPS), has been proposed for the autonomous navigation of micro aerial vehicles (MAVs). A more efficient autonomous MAV navigation system can be developed using the artificial intelligence approaches. MAV can exploit the AI approaches and learn the surrounding indoor and outdoor environment using the big data for efficient maneuvering of the MAV without colliding with obstacles. Using the AI methods, the MAV can predict the environment, and if the environment is unpredictable, the MAV can make suitable decisions in maneuvering by establishing suitable communication with the surrounding environment. Deep learning AI approaches have been proposed for autonomous MAV navigation. By using this innovative method, the MAV can navigate itself without the use of outside location systems. The suggested approach provides a self-sufficient and effective MAV mapping solution, enabling autonomous operation in areas where GPS signals could ...
