It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The section on “ Power Amplifiers ” in this book is contributed by myself. I have spent a good deal of my time working on the apparently simple but actually highly complex business of turning small voltages and currents into large ones without damaging them in the process. I still find it a most absorbing subject of study. This chapter is taken from my Audio Power Amplifier Design Handbook which is now available in a greatly extended fifth edition.
