It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Transaction Scope
The scope of a transaction refers to the environment in which the transaction is performed. In WebLogic Server 8.1, transactions can execute on a standalone server or between clustered servers within a single domain or in multiple domains. Transactions also can occur between nonclustered servers. This is done using common credentials configured through the Administration Console.
