I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
Testing and debugging are key elements of the software development process. Unit testing provides the ability to find functional mistakes early in the development process, and to detect when code changes break existing functionality. Using logging APIs, it's possible to gain greater insight into the behavior of a running system and manage it accordingly. For truly in-depth understanding of an application, nothing beats integrated debugging, in which the application can be paused and stepped through line by line.
