I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
JSON Web Tokens
JSON Web Tokens (JWT) is pronounced JOT. It is a well-defined JSON schema or format to describe the tokens involved in a data exchange process. JWTs are described in RFC 7519.
JWTs are not tied to either OpenID Connect or OAuth 2.0. This means they can be used independently, irrespective of OAuth 2.0 or OpenID Connect. OpenID Connect mandates the use of a JWT for all the tokens that are exchanged in the process. In OAuth 2.0, the use of JWTs isn't mandated but a kind of de facto implementation format. Moreover, the .NET framework has in-built support for JWT.
