I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
9. Use the Quick Control Menu
With all the features and buttons on the 6D, it is easy to become overwhelmed. Luckily, Canon has you covered! Enter the Quick Control menu (Figure 1.7). With a simple press of a button (Figure 1.8), you have quick access to nearly every setting you can think of. Using the Multi-Controller and the Set button, you can move around the Quick Control menu and adjust settings on the fly. The screenshot in Figure 1.7 was taken in Manual mode; the Quick Control menu will vary depending on which shooting mode (Program, Auto, Creative Auto, Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, Bulb, Custom, or Scene) you are in.
