Making the transition from still photographer to videographer can be daunting. Here are a few tips to help you find solid footing in a dynamic visual medium.
When I first began shooting movies with a DSLR, I had to force myself outside my comfort zone of still photography. Instead of always trying to be in the mix of the action, I found myself taking a step back and filming from a single location with a tripod. Instead of chasing the action, I let it come to me.
