Having strong angular lines in your image can add to the composition, especially when they are juxtaposed to each other (Figure 8.4). This can also add a bit of tension and a sense of dimension.

You can also tilt your camera at an angle (Figure 8.5). While I would be cautious about using this trick too often, it can be useful now and then.
