So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using mtr command
This command combines the functionalities of ping and traceroute. It constantly polls a remote server and fetches the latency and performance changes over time. The example for usage of mtr command is shown here:
$ mtr www.google.com
