We can create new connections or a connection profile using the nmcli command. While creating a connection profile, the order of arguments plays an important role. We can specify IP address, gateway, and so on. The connection argument must include the connection type, interface name, and connection name argument to create a connection profile. The additional details such as DNS server are set after the creation of a connection profile by modifying it (connection profile) later on.
