So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
file command
The file command scans the header of a file and tells us what kind of file it is. The file type to be identified is passed as an argument to the file command, as shown in the following screenshot:
