It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Sending signals to processes
There are multiple methods for sending signals to a process. One of the most common is using a keyboard interrupt such as Ctrl + C, Ctrl + D, and so on. Another method is using the kill, killall, and pkill commands.
