It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

IN THIS CHAPTER
This chapter explores the options available from Cocoa for working with multimedia. Cocoa provides classes for sound playback, QuickTime movie playback, and OpenGL drawing. Additional technologies such as advanced QuickTime manipulation, speech recognition, and speech synthesis are also available as part of Mac OS X and can be accessed from Cocoa.
