So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Early stopping
Early stopping refers to the way that we train the network by monitoring performance on a separate validation set and stopping the training when the validation error starts increasing or does not improve enough. This is referred to as a beautiful free lunch by Geoff Hinton.
