I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
8. The Four Virtues of Collaboration
The previous chapter explained that collaboration flows through all aspects of the working environment–the tools used by the team, the mindsets of the people involved, and the culture of the company. Sure, a team can adopt a new collaboration tool to share files, but if sharing isn’t in the mindset of the team or encouraged by the organization, what’s the point?
When a team has embraced all the virtues of collaboration, its members start to exhibit certain behaviors. Here are just a few:
• They provide candid feedback on design work in a way that offers constructive criticism without putting each other on the defensive.
