12. Collaboration Behaviors: Embodying the Virtues

Behaviors for collaboration aren’t so much starting points as they are habits. The conflict patterns of the previous chapters are like medication: something to try when things are going wrong. Collaboration behaviors, on the other hand, are extensions of the virtues described in Chapter 8, and as such, extensions of the mindsets described in Chapter 2. They are habits to be cultivated and adopted into day-to-day work. By incorporating these habits into day-to-day behaviors, project teams will become more collaborative and more efficient, and will produce better work.
