Abstract

The digital twin technology is one of the fastest emerging concepts. A digital twin is a virtual replica of a real-world object. Digital twins are extremely useful for predicting future problems of the real-world object or product it is replicating. Digital twin can be used in many of applications in different sectors, including aerospace, construction, smart city development, etc. Digital twin is growing at a great speed. There are many possibilities with digital twin. In this chapter, digital twin technology concept is introduced. Along with it, different possibilities with digital twin in automotive, aviation, and supply chain sector are discussed.
