Hmm. How to introduce the chapter on the accounting side of an electric vehicle? I could say something like, “You’ll have to pay for the car, you know,” but that would be stupid.
If I were not paying homage to a favorite author with the chapter title, I’d call this chapter something like “Exploring the Price Parity Equation of Gasoline Versus Electric,” but that’s a mouthful of a chapter title (to say the least), so instead let’s just shorten it to this:
Price Parity
It’s a word that enters many an electric car chat (and just stop with your objection, “But that’s two words” when the one word is parity), and when the word is rephrased as a question, what you get is something like this:
