In Steven Spielberg’s 2002 futurist thriller Minority Report, we see Tom Cruise frantically walking through a mall attempting to avoid recognition and capture. As he pushes past the crowds, the multimedia animated ads call out to him by name beckoning him to take a vacation, drink a Guinness, or buy a new Lexus.
