I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Automation
It is almost impossible to have DevOps processes set up without the automation of processes using the appropriate tools, configurations, and team collaboration. Automation of tasks like testing, configuration, and deployment frees up people to let them focus on other more valuable tasks in the project. It also reduces the chances of human error by continuous improvement in the automation processes. At a higher level, automation includes the following:
- Automated testing
- Continuous Integration (CI)
- Infrastructure as a Code
- Continuous Delivery (CD)
