It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Stateless
Keep your microservices as stateless as possible.
This enables automatic failover, simpler load balancing, and auto scaling up or down for your microservice.
When it's stateless, the main concern is that there are enough instances of service to service the clients, and you can simply use automated scaling.
