I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
- Freeze Panes
Freeze Panes is a great way to keep headings at the top and/or left of your spreadsheet in view as you scroll.
The whole key to Freeze Panes is figuring out what cell has to be the active cell when you invoke the command! Here is my attempt at simplifying it:
Every Visible Cell Above and/or To the Left Of the Active Cell When you Invoke Freeze Panes Will stay Visible as you scroll.
Everything else, including the cell that was the active cell can now be scrolled out of view.
This spreadsheet is really small, but I will explain what is going on. Hundreds of rows of customer data. At least 52 weeks of columns. Think about what you really NEED to see as you scroll. Do you need those three rows of Titles in A1:A3? No. Do you need the ...
