Information Rights Management

Information Rights Management (IRM) allows individuals to prevent sensitive information from being read, printed, forwarded, or copied by unauthorized users. After permission for a message has been restricted by using IRM, the access and usage restrictions are enforced wherever the information is located because the permissions to access an e-mail message are stored in the message file itself.
