I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating Support Systems
Your resources file
A good starting point for the would-be exhibitor thinking about ways of promoting their work and finding or creating good support systems for themselves is to start a resources file (see checklist in Appendix). Having a personal list or file of photographic and exhibition resources and suppliers is very useful, and even doing the preliminary research for this will be helpful in thinking through the tasks of exhibiting and should save time when you come to exhibit.
It should be specific to you rather than general. Most of the resources also need to be fairly local to you. It will take time to build up and need to be regularly updated—as your work develops you may need to find a different type ...
