Publicity

An exhibition is a great shop window for a photojournalist as long as the exhibitor makes as much effort doing publicity as putting the work up. Newspapers will often use images from exhibitions, especially if they cost nothing, and having an exhibition can be an occasion to e-mail picture desks or make contact with editors.
