I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
A resources file could include:
• your mailing list (start with names of family, friends, and fellow photographers you know, and build from there)
• general graphic and photographic suppliers
• suppliers of conservation standard boxes and storage systems
• specialist printers who print to exhibition standard
• printers of catalogue or exhibition brochures (the criteria being that they reproduce images to a high standard)
• invitation or postcard printers
• mount cutters and dry mounters
• framers
• glass-cutting firms
• vinyl letter-cutting firms
• transportation—both hire firms and specialist art movers
• galleries to hire
• a list of galleries with relevant specialist interests or policies ...
