So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Transposition is the first stage in a series of images where I position structures built using my father’s Anchor Building Blocks in sites representative of my father and his history.
In this image the German educational toy has Birkenau as its setting. This place of unimaginable horror now also flourishes as an undisturbed site for nature; strangely, it has an unexpected and disturbing tranquility and beauty. Here symbols of innocence are married with the structures and memory of the Holocaust. This exploration of fate and the burden of the past offers many questions with very few answers.
