Using Other JDS Software

In this chapter, we have explored the use of the Acrobat Reader, which allows us to view Portable Document Files, which we can download from the Internet or make using StarOffice7. We also covered the use of RealPlayer for audio and video formats and the use of Gimp, as modified by Sun for JDS.

Following this chapter are appendices, which cover several technical subjects, including the JDS installation processes, Linux text commands, and using the RPM package management system, to mention a few.

We hope that you enjoy exploring Linux through your JDS.
