It's common to plan only one to two weeks in advance when getting started with something as brand‐new as freelancing. We get caught up in the short term, dedicating every ounce of our focus to making sure this newfound side hustle is successful. I was the exact same way for a very long time.
Looking back, if I could change one thing about my freelancing journey, it would be to scale my business, prices, and goals more quickly. I was beyond happy making a few thousand dollars per month for years. And it is not lost on me that billions of people around the world would give anything to have that be a reality for themselves. I am eternally grateful every day.
But, as the Law of Attraction, principle of manifestation, and plain ol’ prayer goes, you will only achieve what you believe is possible for yourself. You must dream bigger, press on, and truly see yourself as someone who is deserving of more. There is nothing wrong with wanting more—no one else is going to “want more” for you. Only you can make that a reality for yourself—I can't stress it enough!
