Figure 14.8 shows the morphological image of the silane functionalized S. cilliare
ber–reinforced composite with particle reinforcement.
From the image, it is obvious that better interfacial bonding takes place in the
green composite prepared using silane functionalized S. cilliare bers, which results
in higher mechanical and physicochemical properties.
