There are a few different auto corrections Photoshop can do, and each of them creates a different look, so you might have to try more than one to see which looks best on your particular photo. First, I’d try Auto Tone: go under the Image menu and, near the top, choose Auto Tone, and see how that looks. If it doesn’t look good, press Command-Z (PC: Ctrl-Z) to Undo that auto correction, and then try Auto Contrast from that same menu (which is focused more on adding contrast, but that may be what your image needs). ...
