11.3 Deploying the application
Here we describe a sample procedure to deploy the application on a Linux
operating system. You will need to copy the update site folder of this rich client
platform application to the /tmp directory on the Linux machine.
Note: An alternative method to deploy the application is using WebSphere
Everyplace Deployment software distribution or Device Management, for details
see Chapter 7, “Device management” on page 163.
