It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

7.4.3 Software update for OSGi bundles
What do you do when a new feature becomes available or a bug is fixed for a
particular application that has been distributed as an OSGi bundle? Updating a
feature or a plug-in basically involves creating a new bundle with the updated
files and registering this bundle with the Device Manager. A Software Distribution
job can then be submitted for the device where you want to install the updates.
On a WebSphere Everyplace Deployment client, the files for a feature or plug-in
are always stored in a subdirectory whose ...
