3.6 Starting and stopping the servers
WebSphere Everyplace Deployment server is installed and configured with three
application servers that offer the required functionality to the User Management
console, Device Management services, and DB2 Everyplace:
coreServices
DMS_AppServer
IBMDB2eServer
Before using the functionality of the User Management console, Device
management Services, and DB2 Everyplace, you should start the above
mentioned servers. See, for example, the procedures described in 3.6.2,
“Starting the servers” on page 67.
3.6.1 Required privileges
Starting and stopping the servers require certain operating system privileges.
