1.Defining alternative curvature measurements based on the angles between vectors This approach consists of estimating the angle defined at c(n0) by vectors along the contour. Various estimations differ in the way that these vectors are fitted or by the method that the estimation is applied. Let c(n) = [x(n),y(n)] be a discrete curve. The following vectors can be defined:
