InDesign provides several corner effects that you can apply to frames to quickly enhance their shape. You can round off the corners of a simple square and even add some excitement to an ordinary polygon. To apply a corner effect, select an object that has corners and choose Object > Corner Options. From the Effect menu in the Corner Options dialog, choose the effect you want to apply. Type a value into the Size field to specify how far the effect extends from each corner point of the selected object (Figure 11.9). After you’ve applied a corner effect, you can go back and modify the settings again, because the effects are nondestructive.
