When creating a merged document, you can generate a single record per page or multiple records per page. Your target document needs to be set up differently, depending on the option you plan to use.
Tip
To quickly find out if duplicate data-field placeholders exist in a document, locate the field in the Data Merge panel. The page it’s on is listed to the right of the field’s name. If more than one number appears, a duplicate exists.
