I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Maximum Number of Paths
If the path to a destination is known via more than one equal-cost path, the routing table will install multiple paths in the routing table and balance traffic over those paths. To override the default maximum number of paths (which is 6 for the current IOS releases) that can be installed in the routing table, use the following command in router configuration mode:
maximum-paths maximumNote that this command does not apply to BGP, which installs only one route to a destination.
