It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
B.5. Technical Director
The SNIA Technical Director is a full-time staffed position funded by the SNIA budget. Responsibilities of the technical director include technical direction and project management of the SNIA work groups, SNIA liaison to standards bodies such as ANSI and IETF, technical input into the SNIA Technology Center, and support of SNIA committees.
