It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Appendix B. Web Resources
This appendix provides links to JavaScript- and web-related resources. Sections include JavaScript, Perl, and CGI references and graphics resources. The last section, “Similar Applications,” points to other web sites that have applications similar to the ones in this book. It’s a good idea to see how other coders solve similar problems.
Cool JavaScript Sites
These are a few sites that use JavaScript to make things happen. Most of the code is pure JavaScript and DHTML. One site requires the Macromedia Flash 3 plug-in, but any recent 4.x or 5.x version of MSIE and NN will have it. Talk about eye candy.
