It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 5 – Assessment answers
- 588 scripts are available in Nmap 7.7
- The FIN flag indicates that there is no more data to be sent and that the connection should be terminated
- A filtered port indicates the packet-blocking device is preventing the probe from reaching the target
- The -f Nmap option can be used to make it harder to detect packets when evading firewalls and IDS
