It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter you learned how to estimate and make a plan out of your estimates. We went through the planning method quick estimating where a whole project could be planned in short time as well as planning poker, which is great for improving an understanding of the work to do.
We told you about three graphs to follow-up the status, including the burn down graph, which was showing the status according to plan; the burn up graph, which showed how much was done and what to expect ahead; and, finally, the cumulative flow diagram, which gave hints about what to expect, how your system is doing, and where the problems are.
