It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

We have covered the basics of test and expr, and we know how to test on file status and string evaluation. Using other conditional statements such as ‘if then else’ and ‘case’ you will be able to do robust testing and take some form of action on the results of the test.
