Now we know that the default set of files is provided through the ktype field in kobjects and ksets, through the default_attrs field of kobj_type. Default attributes will be sufficient in most cases. But, sometimes, an instance of a ktype may need its own attributes to provide data or functionality not shared by a more general ktype.
Just to recap; the low-level functions used to add/remove new attributes (or a group of attributes) on top of the default set are:
