Mais il ne faut pas confondre les flux de travail IA avec les agents. Alors qu'un agent peut s'adapter à la volée, en modifiant son plan s'il rencontre quelque chose d'inattendu, un flux de travail IA a tendance à suivre un chemin fixe, guidant les données d'une étape à l'autre. Cette exécution étape par étape peut simplifier la supervision et le dépannage, ce qui fait des flux de travail un choix logique pour les scénarios où la simplicité est plus importante que la flexibilité offerte par les agents.
Cette interaction entre la nature prédéfinie des workflows IA et les capacités plus dynamiques et autonomes des agents montre où ce domaine plus large pourrait aller. Dans certains cas, les agents peuvent en fait intégrer des workflows IA complets en arrière-plan, combinant autonomie et structure.
