It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Technical requirements
To complete this chapter, you will need to have completed the hands-on exercises of Chapter 15, Installing Linkerd, that deal with the following topics:
- Setting up Linkerd
- Installing a control plane
- Deploying the booksapp and emojivoto applications
For a complete understanding of Linkerd, we also recommend that you complete the hands-on exercises from Chapter 16, Exploring the Reliability Features of Linkerd, and Chapter 17, Exploring the Security Features of Linkerd.
Make sure that you are in the proper scripts directory for the hands-on exercises:
$ cd ~/ # Switch to home directory$ cd linkerd/scripts
