Router Security
8.1 Introduction
An essential measure of securing any network is to ensure
safe traffic across its borders. The router is a device that con-
nects one or more networks together and hence is a point of
entrance to a network. Consequently, the router enforces secu-
rity solutions that are vital to the safety of any network.
